Description

You will be responsible for the embedded firmware development and maintenance of integrated system solutions contained in our high-performance GPS and radio products. Top level duties will include the design, documentation, implementation, debug and support of new and evolving application firmware. Involvement with marketing, hardware, software and QA teams for delivery of effective, quality firmware adhering to project schedules. Specific duties include board bring-up, diagnostics, drivers, boot code, RTOS, optimization, and interfacing to both internal and external protocol standards developed with high quality C and C++ code.

Position Requirements
|
C / C++ programming a requirement, knowledge of Rose tool set a plus
RTOS experience (message passing, synchronization, interrupt handling, etc)
Embedded firmware experience
Experience with Arm or Motorola processor preferred
Developed understanding of software development process
Source code control system familiarity
Unix-like OS familiarity
Windows Visual Development Studio a plus
Web-based application experience (HTML, XML, Java, etc ) a plus
Excellent communication skills
Minimum BSEE, BSCS and 5 years experience |
