NTN Buzztime is seeking an experienced marketing professional to fill the role of Regional Marketing Executive in its Canadian branch located in Mississauga, Ontario. The central objective of this position is to create and maintain strong customer relationships by providing ongoing training and marketing support with an emphasis on customer retention. To achieve this goal, the Regional Marketing Executive will maintain the following responsibilities and duties:
· Manage assigned customer base
o Complete required initial and ongoing training & contact with customers to maintain a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
o Continually evaluate the success of assigned locations and tailor individual and regional promotions to suit the sites’ specific needs.
o Ensure subscribing locations are aware of marketing tools and promotions available to help them achieve a positive ROI.
o Upgrade current customers on new products/systems.
o Perform save attempts with subscribers requesting termination.
o Use organizational skills to manage accounts mainly from home office.
o Identify sites at risk to churn and take proactive measures to insure site retention.
· Strong focus on customer retention
o Create and oversee execution of regional and/or customer specific marketing programs and promotions.
o Oversee retention efforts and save attempts for customers requesting termination.
o Handle escalated customer service issues to ensure customer satisfaction levels are met or exceeded.
· Provide marketing and promotional support to current customers
o Ensure customers are provided ongoing marketing support.
o Work closely with other members of the marketing team to provide customer feedback and recommendations received from customers.
o Act as the customer expert to provide guidance with developing customer loyalty initiatives.
o Provide reporting and analysis of regional marketing campaigns.
o Represent the company as the customer point-of-contact at all industry trade shows.
Requirements
The Skill Set
The Regional Marketing Executive will maintain positive working relationships with the corporate departments as well as Buzztime customers, i.e. General Managers, Bartenders, Servers, and Player champions. With this objective on target, we are looking for candidates with outgoing personalities, who have excellent communication and public speaking abilities coupled with strong negotiation and strategic problem solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint a must. Some travel will be necessary and will require insured, reliable transportation as well as flexibility to work some evenings and weekends. This individual must be able to multi-task and independently manage their customer base; therefore experience with a large customer base is a plus.
Other applicable experience includes a minimum of 2 years interacting with customers in a customer service or marketing capacity; hospitality industry experience is a requirement. Sales experience is a plus.
Minimum education level is 2 year Associates degree from an accredited university.
Physical requirements
· Approximately 40% travel requirement.
· Communicates orally with management, co-workers and customers in face-to-face, one-on-one and group settings.
· Regularly uses telephone for communication.
· Uses office equipment such as computer terminals, copiers and facsimile machines.
· Sits for extended time periods.
· Hearing and vision within normal ranges.
· Reach above shoulder heights (5%); at shoulder height (5%); and below shoulder height (90%).
