Major US industrial and commercial metal roofing company growing substantially throughout Canada requires professional, experienced outside sales reps for the Edmonton AB territory.

The company is well established and perhaps more importantly it is well funded, they are expanding rapidly and need a great sales rep to help continue this growth. The position is perfect for that person wishing to join a solid company with great prospects.

The ideal candidate must have a very strong outside sales background, roofing experience is not essential, related fields that would be considered include industrial, construction and big ticket sales.

The candidate will be required to canvass construction companies, architects, building managers and owners as well as local authorities who oversee the maintenance of municipal buildings such as schools etc, with the goal of developing new business and the employer’s presence in the territory.

To succeed in this business requires not only the ability to learn and apply product knowledge and selling techniques; it also requires genuine desire to solve problems and to build long-term relationships with your customers.

The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years outside sales experience, a college degree is also a must.

The employer is offering a base salary of $55 000 CDN + 25 % commission on ALL sales.

Medical and pension plans are also included.

Full training to be conducted in Cleveland, OH 2 weeks initially followed by an additional 2 weeks after 6 months of field training in the territory.


The employer does not pay relocation fees, as they insist that the candidate dwell within the territory.
