Mechanically inclined required for Railway Contractor to do regular maintenance on specialized railway track equipment,  trucks and trailers, and manufactured equipment.

Requirements

Should be familar with Cummins style diesel engines, heavy hydraulics, rotator motors on grapples, grapples , magnets, buckets,A-9 brake and other valves, and familar with all strengths and compatability of oil, grease and other lubricants etc.

Must be free to travel to assist operators with mechanical maintenance when in remote areas. (Emergency call out)

The majority of maintenance while be at home base Edmonton shop site. Safety knowledge in all applications to maintenance is required. Should have an apptitude to troubleshoot mechanical and other failures.

Some welding experience would be beneficial, as we design and manufacture our own equipment, whereas you may assist in the protype developments.

As no public transportation is offered too our site, a valid drivers license is required with own reliable means of transportation.
