The Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital (GRH) is Canada’s largest freestanding tertiary-level rehabilitation institution and the administrative hub of the Regional Specialized Geriatrics Program. As a nurse for this regional program, you will be part of a dynamic service team, assuring excellence in care to our geriatric and rehabilitation patients.
Requirements
In addition to providing safe, effective, and ethical nursing care, the Registered Nurse integrates knowledge, skills and abilities to ensure ongoing assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care. As a member of the interdisciplinary primary care team, the Registered Nurse facilitates collaborative planning with the patient/family central to the decision making process. The Registered Nurse is reliable and maintains a high degree of professionalism in this leadership role. Must work effectively and efficiently as a team member.
Current registration with the CARNA and current CPR (Basic Rescuer) certification required. Current knowledge and experience in the field of specialty to which you are applying is required. Excellent team, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and leadership skills are essential. Must have a demonstrated commitment to continuing education.
