Outreach Worker

Assist the Executive Director with the development and delivery of appropriate life stage programming for seniors at SCONA and within the community.  Be a resource for seniors, providing home visits, transportation to daily living activities and to programs at SCONA or within the community, providing information referrals, crisis intervention, and support, acting as an advocate for seniors.  Networking with community agencies.  Assist with meal preparation and delivery.  Administrative duties

Combination of education and skill with knowledge and understanding of the needs of older adults, abuse of seniors and the implications of living in poverty.  Excellent interpersonal skills.  Knowledge of community resources.  Computer literacy.  Clear drivers abstract
