We are assisting our client, a large business service provider located across the harbour from Halifax, in Dartmouth Nova Scotia, with the recruitment of a Trust Specialist. As the Trust Specialist working on an Oracle ERP system, you will be responsible for the general ledger and bank account reconciliation on a daily basis. The Trust Specialist will also be responsible for cash forecasting, ensuring the movement of funds, and completing special projects and analysis as required by management. You will be working in a modern, fast paced environment.

Requirements

The candidate to move forward for consideration for the role of Trust Specialist will be currently active in the final stages of the CGA or CMA designation program and has 2+ years of experience in an accounting environment. Ideally, you have had experience working with an ERP system. Experience with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and CICA 5900 compliance is required. Potential candidates from other areas of Canada may be eligible for relocation assistance!
