• Field Technician-Systems Support Specialist (Halifax NS) in Halifax

As a System Service Specialist, you will be primarily responsible for post-sale, on-site maintenance of Tier 1 and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) products including break and fix, software loads and set up of networks and/or equipment within customer accounts. You will provide service that spans PC’s, printers, servers, networks, and point of sale (POS).  Assignments will include assembling/disassembling, installing/decommissioning, upgrading, repairing, relocating, performing problem determination/resolution and systems assurance for Tier 1 and Non-Tier 1 equipment or systems as well as account management.

-Experience or hands on training working with PCs, Servers, printers, and Networks.

-A valid driver’s license and daily access to a vehicle is required.

-Must be able to work flexible hours.

-Experience in identifying and resolving hardware and software issues with focus on details and     following standard procedures or guidelines.

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

-Customer service focus.

-Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently, show initiative and good organizational skills.

-Ability to lift weights up to 50 lb. and have good overall physical mobility.

- A+ Certified would be an asset.
