Reporting to the Vice President, you will establish and maintain effective working relationship and understanding with internal and external stakeholders as well as direct the team to develop and provide high-performance, integrated solutions. You should establish and maintain a well-defined commercial strategy with external service providers to ensure an effective degree to outsourcing, provide advice on transportation best practices across all sourcing origins to management and direct the team to provide and implement high-performance, integrated physical logistics solutions for specific programs. Other responsibilities include establishing and maintaining effective compliance management concepts and working relationship with external service providers to ensure consistent achievement of designated key performance indicators, providing transport and logistics advice in the development of the logistics modules of e-commerce programs, taking initiatives to work with respective global operations functions to support the company's world class supply chain efforts and establishing global logistics contracts to ensure high service levels from service providers and maintain the right balance between complexity, risk and cost.
Requirements
To be qualified, you possess undergraduate degree or equivalent in logistics or supply chain management from an accredited college or university. You have 8 to 10 years experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in the apparel or footwear industries with 5 to 8 years experience in transportation management. Your knowledge of industry software applications and ERP applications is a definite advantage.
