The Recruiter is a member of the Operations team and reports to the Team Leader. This position is central to our organization, sourcing professional musician candidates all over the world to offer international work opportunities.  The Recruiter takes charge of each individual from the initial contact, auditioning and confirmation of employment, while ensuring a high level of customer service.  No solicitation required. Most of the time will be spent on the phone seeking, searching and tracking talented entertainers.  Seize this opportunity to join the company while it enters an exciting worldwide expansion phase.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

 

-        Responsible for offering qualifying candidates with various work opportunities once their skill set has been evaluated by our Adjudicator. Answering objections and resolving scheduling conflicts.  Keeping accurate records and up to date information.

-        Evaluating the candidate’s potential and experience, the Recruiters guide candidates through the recruiting process requesting promotional packages and scheduling auditions.  The Recruiter is trained to host and perform live auditions of musical candidates.

-        Sourcing new candidates from our database, the Internet, advertising and referrals turning dormant and/or inactive leads into active members of our roster. Thinking outside the box and using various research tools to succeed in locating individuals.

-        Delivering outstanding customer service while developing a strong rapport with new and experienced candidates. Stay up to date on cruise line policy and procedure changes and communicate these changes to candidates effectively.  Requesting referrals and working on new leads on a daily basis. 

 



Requirements

The ideal candidate must be a dynamic communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. The Recruiter’s spoken and written English must be at a strong business level. Key traits include determination, self-motivation, energizing personality, quick thinking, resourcefulness and the ability to work under pressure.  Although no actual sales are taking place, sales, telemarketing, survey, customer service experience are essential. Training and professional experience as a musician or in the entertainment industry are important assets.

 

-        Education: Music or Performance Arts

-        Experience: Sales, telemarketing, surveying, customer service, placement agency.

-        Language: English – Very Good            French – Basic knowledge
