The Engineer will be working under Northern Area Projects Department / NAOO & BGP Projects Division. Successful candidate will be expected to: Be responsible for monitoring and managing capital projects from inception to completion throughout all execution phases including Project Proposal, Contract Procurement, Detail Design and Construction. Major activities include: Review project proposals, design drawings, equipment specifications and the proposed protection and control schemes for the electrical. Participate in preparing the electrical detail design packages for plant modification and upgrades. Inspect and commission new electrical equipment including motors, generators, switchgear, UPS system and power monitoring. Participate in investigation teams for the analysis of individual electrical equipment or power system faults. Assist and direct Maintenance technicians in troubleshooting electric equipment related problems

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum of TWO(2) years experience in the Oil and or Gas industry or similar process industry. Experience must be such that the incumbent is clearly recognized as being capable of project and design assignments. A through knowledge of English is required to perform analysis and studies in depth, make professional presentations and keep up with technical advancements
