Pro-active production monitoring – frequent polling and status health checks for all identified production services (processes running, connectivity established.)
Pre-emptive failure detection (monitor disk space, memory usage, log files, buffers, etc.). Threshold and status checks need to be defined with the customer.
Post-mortem issue analysis – Document and analyse any issue that could not be resolved within published service levels.
Capacity planning for upgrades and new system specifications.
Production rollout of configuration changes.
Ensure all local middleware infrastructure is compliant with latest patched software and hardware.
