Description
  • Provide desktop, printer and application support to users including installation of new programs and trouble shooting on hardware and software
  • Ensure all calls are logged into the Helpdesk System and actioned in accordance with SLA
  • Perform Network System and Server Administrative Tasks including backups, security and printing
  • Project work, including liaison with customers, users and regional IT staff
  •  
    Position Requirements
  • A relevant tertiary qualification or industry certification combined with a minimum of 3 years experience in user support
  • Experience with a Helpdesk system and an understanding of SLA’s
  • Experience with Microsoft Operating Systems and Applications
  • Familiarity with LAN, WAN, or IP technologies
  • A good working knowledge of relational databases (an advantage)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to relate to all levels of users
  • Strong abilities to analyse and prioritise issues for problem resolution (troubleshooting)
