Provide desktop, printer and application support to users including installation of new programs and trouble shooting on hardware and softwareEnsure all calls are logged into the Helpdesk System and actioned in accordance with SLAPerform Network System and Server Administrative Tasks including backups, security and printingProject work, including liaison with customers, users and regional IT staff

Position Requirements

A relevant tertiary qualification or industry certification combined with a minimum of 3 years experience in user supportExperience with a Helpdesk system and an understanding of SLA’sExperience with Microsoft Operating Systems and ApplicationsFamiliarity with LAN, WAN, or IP technologiesA good working knowledge of relational databases (an advantage)Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to relate to all levels of usersStrong abilities to analyse and prioritise issues for problem resolution (troubleshooting) |
