Develop high-resolution biostratigraphic scheme for development scale reservoirs delineation especially for the turbidite and fluvial systems as well as marginal marine settings. Provide a link with research and technology and implement new products and actively pursue and promote new stratigraphic tools and techniques, and ensure development of discipline skills of staff in the team. Act as a broker for specialist services from third party sources and act as liaison with external study projects sponsored by EPA. You will be the custodian for the EPA stratigraphical standards, knowledge and data base.
Requirements
Hands-on experience in biostratigraphy and other stratigraphic techniques, sequence stratigraphy and the application thereof on regional and field geological scales is essential. In-depth knowledge of sedimentology, depositional systems and basin analysis will be highly valued. Thorough understanding of speciality and methods, and ability to integrate data from all relevant disciplines will be an advantage. You should have expertise in managing and coaching people, communicating and liaising with customers and contractors.
