Regional IT Communications Manager
Develop and deliver key APAC IT and global IT messages to the relevant, targeted population in a timely and accurate fashion;Assess and advise senior managers with respect to their profiles and visibility; Develop a good understanding of APAC IT and how it fits into the broader IT support function; Provide key interface between APAC IT and the global IT Communications team;Market IT successes to the wider business community, through monthly communications, Web publications and other relevant forums/channels;Participate in IT Communications team projects and activities, which may be global in scope.
Requirements
Excellent presentations, communications and interpersonal skills are required;Very strong writing ability and previous communications experience;Minimum 5 years’ regional IT Communications experience preferably gained from financial institutions;An awareness of peer activity in communications practices in order to bring new ideas to the table for the benefit of the global IT Communications function;An understanding of all platforms available for the delivery of messages (town hall-style employee meetings, Web, Exec Chat, road shows, debates, e-mail, print, etc) and ability to advise on the appropriateness of each in a given circumstance.
