Providing strategic and technical consulting services during design, specification and roll-out of worldwide communication projects in the following areas: - 2.5G, 3G and further network developments - Digital PMR (professional mobile radio) such as TETRA and TETRAPOL - Wireless transmission technologies such as WLL, WiMax, IEEE 802.20 etc. Analysis, planning and implementation of network systems Evaluation and optimization of existing networks and technologies Preparation of tenders/proposals (RFQ, RFI) as well as studies/opinion papers Management of acceptance and implementation tests
Requirements
In-depth experience in the area of radio technologies; experience in the following areas are beneficial: - Network planning, optimization and maintenance - Mobile system technology (BSS, RAN) - Core processes of network operators, especially O&M Distinctive project management-skills, excellent analytical and conceptual abilities Strong communication skills and customer orientation, convincing appearance and excellent presentation skills Very good command of English; a second language will be beneficial Prepared for any kind of short term or long term assignment in different countries
