My client is a profitable, well established manufacturer of engineering products. They currently have an opportunity for an experienced, “hands-on” supply chain and procurement manager to have overall responsibility for all aspects of their logistics operation from supplier through to end customer. # # The role will involve sourcing products from overseas manufacturing facilities, designing and implementing procurement strategies, leading cost down initiatives, managing the customer order book and working with them on all aspects of delivery performance and stocking policies. # # The ideal candidate will need to have experience of managing complex supply chains within an engineering environment and experience from either the automotive; aerospace or electronics industry would be advantageous. You should have sound leadership, planning and project management skills and excellent knowledge of ERP systems.

Requirements
## Experience of leading and managing a purchasing/procurement function. ## Experience of complex supply chains in an engineering environment ## Knowledge of ERP Systems.
