As the company continues to grow, they are currently seeking a Financial/Business Analyst to analyze financial information with respect to all transactional activities. The Financial/Business Analyst will work with department heads and the IT group to enhance system functionality.
Responsibilities
Review and analyze customer activity
- Review daily activity to determine company profitability of all transactions
- Investigate inconsistencies and work with Directors and IT department to resolve differences
- Perform validations on a daily basis – ensuring that daily changes to inventory and A/R are
consistent with transactions
- Verify inventory physical count with Navision on a daily and monthly basis
- Analyze GL accounts
Monthly Analysis of financial data for management
- Provide an analysis for each department head
- Prepare monthly or other periodic management report showing variances and trends
Requirements:
- 3 - 5 years work experience in a pertinent field
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field
- Excellent computer literacy with advanced Excel skills
- Experience as a business analyst is an asset
