Position: Food Service Manager Leisure and Entertainment
Location: Prospera Centre Chilliwack, British Columbia
Duties:
• You will oversee the food service and manage the Private Suites, Bar & Grill, and Concessions within the arena
• You will involve in all phases of operation planning and expenditures, budgeting, costing and sales reporting.
• You are accountable in menu planning, staffing, scheduling, client and customer relationship building.
• The successful candidate will ensure strict compliance of Compass Quality Assurance and Health and Safety Program, Occupational Health and Safety Act and WHMIS regulations.
• You will coordinate frequent workplace inspections and WHMIS training of all staff and promptly report any workplace accident or incident to head office.
This position will report to the District Manager who is based in Vancouver. You are required to work weeknights and weekends.
Required Qualifications (please only apply if you meet all required qualifications):
• Post secondary education plus minimum 5 years related management experience in high-end catering and leisure/entertainment food service environment
• Strong supervisory skills and capable to motivate, lead and develop staff
• A strong communicator and effective leader who is able to work independently and take charge on several projects simultaneously.
• Proven financial management skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Willing to accommodate flexible work schedule (weekend and night shifts required)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Experience with serving alcohol at concerts and events
• Excellent customer and client relationship skills
Assets:
• Previous leisure experience will be a great asset
