Reporting to the Human Resource manager located at the head office, and in cooperation with the general manager, the successful candidate will:

  • Implement and manage human resource policies and procedures;
  • Manage various group retirement and insurance programs;
  • Keep employee files up to date and ensure distribution of communications to employees;
  • Coordinate the recruitment process (postings, resume analysis, interview scheduling, pre-hire testing, etc.), and ensure a follow-up with candidates;
  • Manage and coordinate training and performance evaluation programs;
  • Collaborate closely with various department heads to support them in human resource management (position structure, performance problems, work life quality, motivation strategy, etc.);
  • Coordinate an efficient administration and interpretation of collective agreements.
  • The position covers divisions in the provices of Quebec (Victoriaville and Boucherville), New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island, which might require travelling every 4 to 6 weeks.



    Requirements
    We are looking for a candidate with a degree in human resources or industrial relations, and 3 to 5 years experience in a similar position, or any other equivalent combination of training/experience. The candidate must show aptitude in leadership, autonomy, and noted aptitudes in communications. A sense of responsibility, organization, integrity, attention to details, and reliability are considered assets for this position. The candidate must be BILINGUAL (oral and written). Knowledge of current computer tools is necessary. Experience in an unionized environment would be an important asset.
