Be a team member or a team lead

Interface with other departments (e.g., Software and Physical Design groups)

Additional Responsibilities:

Support existing products

Participate in Cost Reduction Programs

Contribute to Continuous Hardware Improvement Process

Requirements

Design Knowledge of Telecom and Datacom products (e.g., DS1, DS3, Ethernet)

Familiarity with SONET architecture Desired

Board Level Design Experience

FPGA Design Experience

Simulation and Test Experience

Product introduction to product release experience (including factory interface)

BSEE or MSEE with field of study in Electrical Engineering

Minimum 7 years experience that should include Hardware Design and Test, preferably in the Telecom/Datacom field
