Our clients subscriber based web applications use state of the art hardware/software suite including: Sun Solaris, Java, ORACLE and XML. A large share of the company's revenues are derived electronically and supported by an Information Technology team that is well seasoned, technically savvy and creative.
The selected individual will be a member of a team that develops software related to all aspects of Web-publishing and supporting activities for Congressional Quarterly. The position involves all phases of development, including design, coding, testing, and production support. The candidate will work with project teams with 1 or more developers, project manager and QA analysts.
Requirements
Specific requirements include, but are not limited to:
2+ years experience in Web development 2+ years experience in Web development Communicate and document goals, scope timeframe's and dependencies to the teams involved as well as other groups. 2+ years experience in Web development Co-ordinate support of the current products BS Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering 2+ years experience with Java 1+ year experience with JSP's 1+ year experience with XML 2+ years experience with relational databases
