The main objective of this position is to oversee the manpower responsible for mechanical and preventative maintenance duties in the inspection, maintenance and repair of equipment; creating efficiencies to positively affect production and maintain safety standards. This challenging career opportunity is ideal for an individual who is responsible, likes to take initiative, has excellent technical capabilities and wants to enhance their skills for career advancement.

Applicant Requirements:

• Proverbially ‘jack-of-all-trades’ with extensive experience repairing mechanical and industrial equipment in a manufacturing/industrial setting. Preference would be given to a journeyperson tradesperson designation like a Millwright/Industrial Mechanic or an engineering background.
• Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience with teams of 5-10 people in various disciplines; responsible for training, discipline, coaching, and scheduling.
• Strong technical expertise in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of equipment
• Hands on experience in hydraulic, electrical, control and safety systems
• Farm background a definite asset
• Willing to reside in a rural location and work with an organization where you are a name, not a number.
