Our client requires an individual to fill the role of a qualified Systems Analyst/Programmer/Web Developer/Web Designer to provide maintenance, support and required enhancements to an internally developed application (SPAR - Store Product Assortment Review) that provides our retail store network with product related data, analysis and reporting. The application is a browser-based application utilzing HTML, JAVA and ASP that is primary a query tool for the stores. While it does have limited online updates to store unique data, most of the data is extracted from an Oracle database and aggregated weekly from multiple data sources using SQL.

Requirements/Qualifications/Certifications
• 10+ years experience as an analyst/programmer in systems development preferably in a retail environment. Knowledge of emerging technologies and experience with the following:
• Environment: Windows, UNIX
• Programming languages: C, C++, C#, Visual Basic.NET, Visual Basic 6.0, Perl
• Internet technologies: IIS, HTML,XHTML, Java, JavaScript, ASP.NET
• Databases: MS SQL Server, SQL, PL/SQL, MySQL, DB2, ORACLE
• Data Access: ADO.NET, ADO, XML
• Development Tools: Visual Studio.NET, Visual Studio
Strong documentation skills – business flow, software requirement specifications, process diagrams, etc
