COMPANY PROFILE:
Our client is a worldwide leader in IP-based video communication and collaboration services, with offices in the United States, Canada, UK, Hong Kong and China.
We are currently conducting a search for a Web/Software Developer based out of their Mississauga office.
Our client offers the ideal candidate an opportunity to touch and use a wide variety of technologies including: Java, J2EE, Python, SOAP, ESB, Linux, SOA, Struts, SQL, Video Conferencing protocols and signalling stacks (H.323, SIP). The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent SQL skills, combined with a technical skill set that lends itself to an ambitious “self starter” developer (Java, J2EE). We are seeking an individual who is flexible, is conversant with technology, and can quickly learn new concepts. The successful individual will be involved in the creation of ESB bundles and test cases, definition and processing of XML based messages, interfacing to external interfaces, integration testing and documentation.

REQUIREMENTS:
Client’s development is primarily done in a Linux/Win32 environment using Java. The development language being used is Java (Java 6), or Python (2.5). Experience in any of the following would be required:
Server: MS SQL Server; Apache Maven and Subversion
Tooling: Apache Log4j; Junit; JSP; RESTFul; Java Portlet specification; JBoss portal server
SOAP/REST/HTTP; XML DOM; XSLT; Apache POI; Java JDBC; Hibernate; Eclipse BIRT reporting; SQL
Server reporting services; GWT/GWT ext; FLEX; Java Email
Development Experience: Java/J2EE development experience; Database design and SQL experience; Linux/Unix environment; XML/XSLT; Web application development (front and back end); Web Service/SOAP; Spring/OSGI/ESB; Maven
Nice to have: Python script; Flex/Flash; ServiceMix; Reporting; NMS/TMS; EJB 3
